Day 4 - God Wanted to Make Us Holy

Today in the 40 Days of Holiness campaign, we're answering the question, "Whose idea was it to make people holy? How can I be sure God wants me to be holy?"

The teaching video above helps show the meaning of Ephesians 1 -- that God planned to make you holy before the creation of the world. All holiness is his idea and his will for you... and He's the one who accomplishes his plan for your holiness.

About the Guided Prayer experience: The 40 Days of Holiness journey features written prayers in your Pursuing Holiness workbook, but also a 5-minute structured video prayer time for seeking God's holiness in our hearts. This prayer time is a specific time carved out to seek the Holiness of God in your life and your heart.

Prayer: Patient Father, I see now that you've been patiently chasing after me, and preparing me for this journey.  You've been working on me, and you've decided to make me holy.  I thank you for it, I look forward to it, and I relax into your plan. I believe you're going to take me there, where all of you fills all of me, and makes me holy.  Thank you for your eternal plan.  Show me what's next, and I'll gladly follow.  Amen.
