Day 5 - Jesus is an Example of Human Holiness
Welcome to the 40 Days of Holiness discipleship journey! Today we're answering the question, "Can humans actually be holy? How holy can a human actually be?"

This question is answered in the video above, by looking at Jesus, the perfect example of holiness. Holiness is Christlikeness, nothing more, nothing less. Jesus is our perfect example of what holiness means. If you're seeking holiness, you're seeking to be as much like Jesus as you can be in this life.

Prayer: Father of all Holiness, I have one deep, supreme desire... I want to be like Jesus. I join with David in praying, “When I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.” (Psalm 17:15, ESV) Please help me as I seek after Christlikeness, to keep my mind fixed on Jesus and not on myself. In focusing on myself, my progress, my strength, nothing good happens. But I believe if I’ll behold Jesus, I’ll have endurance (Hebrews 12:1-2) and be changed into his image (2 Corinthians 3:18). Thank you for showing us what human holiness looks like! Amen.
